so...i've been having sooo much fun reading other blogs of friends and family...that i've decided to start my own for our family. so here it goes, our first post.
i think i will make mention of our recent parties, it was cake week at our house. quite literally. on monday the 5th it was my bday, dave & the kids made me a cake... the kids had lots of fun with the sprinkles! it was a yummy chocolate with chocolate frosting.
then on wednesday i made a cake for a church function. addy loved it and refered to it as her castle cake. she was sad to see it go...
then on thursday the 8th it was addy's bday so i made her a castle cake of her own. she was very excited! it was red velvet with white frosting. real rich.laura came that night, and we made her a cake too, since she didn't get a bday cake on monday. her cake was yellow with chocolate frosting...her favorite!
then on saturday the 10th i made addy's bday party cake, it was an ariel cake. 
it looked cool, and was yummy too. it was a white cake with lemon filling, and white frosting. but honestly i was so sick of cake i barely could finish my piece! needless to say at this point we had a nice cake buffet for the party guests to choose from.
it was a fun week! mom was here the whole week and she taught me how to make christmas stockings. we made 10 in total, 9 for dave's family, and timmy's. thanks mom!it was a great week! thanks to everyone for all the bday wishes we recieved!!!
