Today we went down to Galveston. It's only about 15 minutes from my parents house which is very nice. We all had so much fun! We fed the birds, we built sand castles, saw horses and of course played in the water. 
Jimmy surprised me by actually wanting to go out in the water. On our last visit to the beach he was content to stay in the sand. Addy of course was all about getting in the water. It was keeping her close that was the problem, she is TOO independent! 
It was Timmy's first time at the beach, his favorite part was knocking down sand as soon as anyone could dump it out. 
Towards the end he started putting handfuls of sand in his mouth, YUCK! At that we knew it was time to go and get the kids some lunch!

Timmy eating sand, yum! It sounds like your day was really great! I want to go to the beach! But, I'm glad you're coming home soon, I miss hanging out with you and seeing your cute kiddos! Who else can climb into Rick's lap like Addy does? ;)
That looks like so much fun. I have driven by the beach but never played at the beach. Maybe we will take a trip down to the beach with the kids someday.
Sorry we weren't able to get together in Bryan. We really enjoyed your visit in RR.
