christmas time is wonderful!

on saturday we went out to fiesta texas for "holiday in the park". the park was decorated with LOTS of lights, and they even had the biggest christmas tree in all of texas. it looked beautiful and smelled GREAT! but it was almost sad to see such a huge tree that had grown for who knows how many years to be chopped down and put in a theme park for christmas. i guess it was the trees moment to shine...i wonder what will happen to it after christmas. it was dark, so the pictures are hard to make out, but to give you an idea: the picture of the whole tree was taken a far way back to get it all in the picture and the picture with the carolers, is them under the tree, check out the base of that tree! the kids had lots of fun, and even got to see santa! we all enjoyed the time together as a family.

I'm glad y'all had fun. That is a huge tree. I can't imagine putting the lights on that thing. Thats my least favorite part of decorating the christmas tree.

wish we could have gone with you. we're FREEZING here so we don't go anywhere, but man, that holiday in the park looks like it's so festive and magical! we would have loved to have been there, with you!!
