It's out!

Jimmy's tooth came out at school yesturday. When I picked him up in the afternoon he was very proud to tell me all about it. Last night he was very excited to put it out for the toothfairy. This morning I awoke to his LOUD joy of finding money in place of the tooth.

Weekend in Review

We really enjoyed our extended 3 day weekend. Lots of fun family time!

Addy started a tumbling class on Saturday, and really LOVED it!

Wii Fit

Or should I say wii NOT so fit!

HAHA! We've been very curious about this "game". So when we got gift cards for Christmas, we thought it might be a fun purchase. But then the stores were sold out...how sad. Until last night when we found one. So after the kids went to bed last night Dave and I played for and hour and a half. And it really gets you going like a work out, this morning we were both sore. Sad I know. To spare us the embarresment I'm not including any pictures or video clips, but believe me when I say it was funny! The neat thing about the wii fit is how accurate it makes your wii mii. In other wii games you just design a perfect little you to play with. But on this you step on (its also a scale) type in your height and birthday and suddenly your bmi is calculated and your mii takes shape. In our cases it was quite the round plump shape, very comical, but sad at the same time. So far I have to say my favorite is the Hula Hoop and Super Hula Hoop games. Very fun, but very tiring. Family Fun Time

The kids got Cootie for Christmas so we played a fun round of it the other night. Here is everyone showing off their cooties. It made a for a fun night!

A Conversation with Jimmy

After picking Jimmy up from a friends house earlier this week here was our conversation:

Mom: Did you have fun? What did you do?

Jimmy: Yea, it was fun...we played blocks, then in the front yard, then in back yard...but they didn't have any toys so we just played Batman.

Mom: Batman? Like you pretended to be Batman?

Jimmy: No!

Mom: They had a Batman?

Jimmy: No! I told you they didn't have any toys back there.

Mom: So what is Batman?

Jimmy: It's kinda like tennis but we used a birdie.

Mom: OH!!! You played badminton.

Jimmy: No! There were no mittens! We played Batman!

Christmas Card Idea

As I've been cleaning through some of my craft stuff, I found this idea card:

Maybe this is old news and maybe you all already do this or something similiar...but it was a WOW great idea moment for me. And so I thought I'd share... I never know what to do with all the cute pictures we get with our Christmas cards each year from friends and family. So this is my plan I am going to make Christmas cards 2008 scrapbook pages.
