kids bathroom

about a week ago i go in the kids bathroom to see the wall paper border ripped for about a foot section. after questioning all the kids, jimmy admitted to it. he told me he saw it was loose and wanted to help so he took it off. big grr....oh well. so i wanted to fix it with minimal effort and cost. meaning i wanted to find a new wall paper border that would match the green paint and the yellow rugs & towels that are currently in their bathroom. after much searching i found a border at walmart that did both. if i was starting from scratch this wouldn't have been my first choice, it's bit more bold that i think i would of picked...but it fit the bill at $7 and it matched both the paint and the rugs/towels. so yesterday while jimmy was at school, addy was with dave, and timmy was napping i went to work. let me know what you think.

the first picture is the bathroom before with cats and dogs....

and this is what the walls look like now...

i changed the shower hooks to plain clear ones that i already had, and bought a simple $2 white trash can and now it all matches. so if anyone wants some cute cat and dog shower hooks and matching trash can just let me know :)

Super job Liz! I like the new border a lot! It will grow with the kids too, so you won't have to change it for a long time. Um, as long as Jimmy or one of the other kids doesn't "help" again! :) So much for that nap though! At least you enjoyed yourself with some of your quiet time!

I agree with desi, it is still cute but grown up enough to last as they get older! Good job!
