Saw this NEW tag with a fun twist tonight and thought it would be fun to do! Here's the rules if you want to play along...
It's called Homemade Gifts
The first five people to comment on this post will get something made by me! My choice, for you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake something and mail it to you.
3. It will be done sometime in the next 12 months.
4. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, I say there is NO catch! But if you want to pass it on, then go ahead and copy and paste this in your blog and let the crafting begin!
Remember to email me your mailing address.
Happy Crafting!

Timmy is a TROOPER
Just an update...I woke Timmy up at 5:45 this morning in order to get him to the surgery center for his scheduled 6:15. He did extremely well and was realeased by 9. When we got home he giggled and played with Addy like normal, you wouldn't of guessed he'd been up so long, or just had surgery. He is now down for his usual nap, and hopefully headed towards an ear infection free future.

So much to catch up on...
Well I made 2 slide shows for this post, but am currently having technical difficulty getting those added...so I will try again later.
Just a heads up this is going to be a LONG post. Things have been crazy busy the last 2 weeks and the blog has been neglected. So here goes my attempt to recap what has been going on...
Here's Addy she "played" in age group 2...I put played in quotations because her interest level is low and actually only spent about 5 minutes on the field.
Here's Jimmy in the center wearing blue. He played in age group 3. This picture to me is a great summary of the game. In this group the boys insisted on being on the same team, and the girls insisted on being together. So we let them try it. It made for an uneven split 4 girls against 2 boys. The boys TRIED really hard, but couldn't quite keep up with the girls. Being a non-competitve soccer group we don't keep score and just play for fun. But the girls were keeping track on their own. When Dave blew the ending whistle they rejoiced and said they won 7-1. For future reference the team will not be split like this again, in hopes of setting a more even playing field.
Immeadiately following the game on the 7th I headed to Houston. My brother who currently lives out of state was "home" for the weekend at my parents house, so I went to see him and the rest of the family. For those of you who may not know, I am married to the GREATEST man ever! Dave insisted I go on my own and take a break from the kids. So I did I went and spent the car ride listening to my music and only stopped when I wanted to. It was swell! While in Houston I did lots of fun things with my family. One day we went to Kemah and saw this yellow submarine that screamed photo op!
One night we played 4 person pool. Dad has a pool table out in the garage. It was Stephen & Laura against Dad & myself. Lots of laughs were had, thanks for a fun night guys!
Slide show 1 goes here, the kiddos being cute...
Friday I spent prepping for Jimmy's party. My parents also came into town for the weekend. Saturday morning Jimmy was all excited! He was 6 and he couldn't wait for his party to start!

Oh and thanks to all who commented on the Jimmy situation. I appreciate your advice! And an update on it all...
Jimmy said Lily has stopped trying to kiss him since he told her that friends HUG not kiss.
On the Sara and phone number front... I told him he could be friends with her at school, but I didn't think he was old enough to be calling friends. So this is what he told me, "I told Sara that I would call her when I'm was 16, is that old enough to be calling friends?" FUNNY BOY! I love him!

A Cry for HELP!!!
HELP!!! I don't know what to do...
I just picked Jimmy up from school and he showed me a slip of paper with numbers on it. Then proudly said, "This is Sara's number, she gave it me! I'm gonna call her later!"
I'm thinking WHAT!?!?! He's only 5 (6 next week, but still)! I don't think it helps that this comes only 3 days after he told me that Lily kissed him on the playground. We had a BIG discussion on that this weekend. Friends only hug NO KISSING! So my question is, am I being irrational? Is this a harmless school yard practice (exchanging numbers and calling) or is this crazy? I didn't give my number out to a guy other than for school projects until High School. My baby is growing up too FAST!
So please all my blogging buddies, especially those with older kids in school that may have encountered similiar issues PLEASE tell me your advice!

My Silly Kids
Jimmy got a Star Wars dress up trunk for Christmas, and all the kids are loving it. There have been many light saber battles in the past few weeks. Thanks Nana Cindy for such a fun gift.
